1inch Price Explodes 90% to New ATH as Upbit Lists 1inch and AAVE

The market may have corrected in the last few hours, but 1inch Token and AAVE are going against the tide. The former rose by up to 96%, the latter by 37%. This came as Korea’s leading cryptocurrency exchange – Upbit – listed the tokens for trading.

HowCryptoPotato reported Today, the entire cryptocurrency market collapsed in a matter of minutes as the price of Bitcoin fell below $60,000 and fell as low as $58,000. All altcoins followed suit, with most posting double-digit declines with a few exceptions like SHIB. Two other cryptocurrencies that not only did not decline but also rose massively were 1inch and AAVE. 1inch, the native token of the popular 1inch DEX aggregator, rose almost 100%. The cryptocurrency hit a new all-time high of $8.65 (according to CoinGecko). The price has now corrected somewhat, but is still up significantly.

Chart by TradingView Another significant rise was AAVE – the governance token of the popular decentralized lending protocol Aave. It was up about 37% at one point, but didn't come close to its all-time high, which was around $660 five months ago. All of this came on the heels of Upbit – Korea’s leading cryptocurrency exchange – announced that it lists both tokens on its platform and opens them for trading. The exchange opened both BTC and KRW markets, and traders were able to deposit 30 minutes after the notification. .
