Plan B Bitcoin price poll sees 100,000 votes

Plan B is a pseudo-anonymous Twitter account ( @$100 trillion ) and the creator of the Bitcoin pricing model called Stock-to-Flow (S2F). Plan B has stated in previous tweets that Bitcoin will rise in September ( BTC ) prices can be lackluster, and this week he called “Let’s skip September and go straight to October.”

He said this because Plan B expects Bitcoin prices to follow this path in a tweet he wrote on June 20: “Aug>47K, Sep>43K, Oct>63K, Nov>98K, Dec>135K.” So far, Plan B's Bitcoin price prediction has been on point in August and even September.

On September 11, 2021, Plan B decided to conduct a Twitter poll, as it has done on various occasions in the past. Plan B has 799.1K Twitter followers, so word of his poll is getting around on the social media platform. The poll he shared last Saturday asked following question on Twitter:

Do you think Bitcoin will or will reach $500,000, $28,000 (S2FX model), $100,000 (S2F model)? BTC stay under $100,000…until Christmas 2021?

123,410 votes were cast in Plan B's poll on Twitter and 45.7% believe it will reach $100,000. About 32.7% of voters think BTC will remain under $100,000 through Christmas 2021. 15.3% of people think that they think $288,000 is possible, and 6.3% believe that $500,000 per Bitcoin could be reached by the end of the year.

Clemente’s model will suggest that Bitcoin’s price floor is $39,000

In addition to Plan B’s recent survey, Will Clemente, Lead Insights Analyst at Blockware Solutions, tweeted about a pricing model called “Illiquid Supply Floor.”

“Introducing the Illiquid Supply Floor,” Clemente tweeted on September 15th. "This combines Glassnode's illiquid supply data with Plan B's traditional S2F model, creating a price floor based on Bitcoin's real-time scarcity. Currently $39,000," Clemente added. He also thanked Matt Faltyn for helping him “bring the model to life.”

Crypto entrepreneur Anthony “Pomp” Pompliano congratulated Clemente on his card and said, "This is a blast. Good job." Meanwhile, others weren't so kind and dubbed the model "Hopium" in response to Clemente's chart.

"Combining old trash with new trash. Still trash at the end of the day," one critic said tweeted. “Also, if Bitcoin is so “scarce” and due for a “supply shock,” then why hasn’t it set a new ATH in almost 6 months? If it’s so rare, why has it stayed between $30 and $50,000 for so long?”
